About ESA Letter US
ESA and PSD letters from licensed clinicians, plain-English guidance, and nothing we can't stand behind.
Licensed in all 50 states + DC
Make the honest route to an emotional support animal letter the easy one
ESA Letter US exists because the honest route to an ESA letter had become the hardest one to find. Registries sell certificates and ID cards that no landlord has to honor, while the one document that works under the Fair Housing Act, a letter from a mental health professional licensed in your state after a real evaluation, gets lost in the noise.
So we built a letter-only service. Independent, state-licensed clinicians evaluate you and decide whether an emotional support animal or a psychiatric service dog is right for you. If yes, your signed letter typically arrives within 24 to 48 hours of your evaluation.* If not, you get a full refund. We offer four things: the ESA housing letter ($99), the PSD letter ($139), the ESA + PSD combo ($199) and an annual renewal ($79).
*Arkansas, California, Iowa, Louisiana and Montana require a 30-day client–provider relationship before an ESA letter can be issued. Your evaluation starts immediately; the letter is dated and issued after day 30.
How we vet every clinician who writes an ESA letter
Every professional in our network clears three checks before they see a client, and keeps clearing them to stay.
License verified with the state board
We confirm the license number, type and expiry directly in the state licensing board's public register. Nothing is taken on trust.
Standing and disciplinary history check
The license must be active and in good standing, with no unresolved suspensions, restrictions or disciplinary actions.
Ongoing compliance monitoring
We re-check licenses on renewal and track state law changes, such as California's 30-day rule, so every letter follows current law.
See if you qualify for an ESA letter
A short assessment puts you in front of a clinician licensed in your state. ESA housing letter $99, PSD letter $139, both $199. Questions first? We answer 7 days a week.
What We Stand For
Four commitments that decide how this service is run, including the parts that cost us sales.
Clinical judgment comes first
Every letter follows an evaluation by a licensed clinician. Clinicians can decline, there are no approval targets, and a decline means a full refund.
We tell you the inconvenient parts
Registries are worthless, an ESA letter does nothing for air travel, and a PSD letter does not make an untrained dog a service dog.
Your diagnosis stays yours
The letter confirms a disability-related need and nothing more. Your diagnosis is never written into it or shared.
A person answers
Support is staffed seven days a week by people who can help with a lease clause or a property manager.
