Work With Us as a Licensed Clinician
We refer clients to independent, state-licensed mental health professionals for assistance animal evaluations. You keep full clinical authority, set your own availability, and decline anyone who does not meet the criteria.
What Working With Us Looks Like
We handle scheduling, intake and documentation logistics. You handle the clinical work.
You set your own hours
Take as many or as few referrals as your practice allows, and pause any time without penalty. There is no minimum and no exclusivity.
Clear, flat compensation
You are paid per completed evaluation at a rate agreed before you take your first referral. No sliding scale, no clawbacks, no payment tied to approval.
No approval targets
We do not track or reward approval rates. If an evaluation does not support an assistance animal, you decline it and the client is refunded.
Structured intake before the call
Clients complete a written assessment covering their situation, their animal and how it helps, so you start with context rather than a blank screen.
Clients matched to your license
Referrals are filtered by the states you hold an active license in, including the states with a 30-day relationship requirement.
Administrative support
Our team fields scheduling and billing questions, so those do not land in your inbox.
Joining Takes Four Steps
Send your application
The form below takes a few minutes. We ask for your credential, license numbers and the states you practise in.
We verify your credentials
We confirm your license is active and in good standing with each state board you list. Nothing proceeds until that checks out.
A short introductory call
We walk through how referrals arrive, what the documentation must contain, and where state rules differ. You ask whatever you need to.
Start when it suits you
You choose your availability and referral volume. You can change both later, or stop entirely.
Clinician Application
All fields marked with an asterisk are required. We reply within two business days.
Questions From Clinicians
Am I an employee or a contractor?
An independent contractor. You keep your own practice, your own malpractice cover and your own clinical judgment. We refer clients to you and handle the logistics around the appointment.
How do the 30-day states work?
Arkansas, California, Iowa, Louisiana and Montana require a client relationship of at least 30 days before documentation can be issued. Those referrals are scheduled as two appointments, and the client is told about the timeline before they start.
Whose letterhead is used?
Yours. The documentation carries your practice details, credential, license number and state of licensure, along with your signature and the date. We do not issue anything under our own name.
